My name is Anja Brierley Lange. And I am passionate about women’s health, womb wellness and pelvic floor awareness. I am an Ayurvedic Practitioner (BSc, PGDip), Clinical Aromatherapist, Yoga Teacher and has additional training in pelvic floor health, yoni steam, flower essences and reiki.
Always interested in health and wellness on a physical and emotional level I completed my first yoga teacher training course in 1998 although it took another 7 years before I started continued my yoga education and started teaching. I quickly trained to teach pregnancy and postnatal yoga. I co-created and was the course-leader on a leading pregnancy and postnatal yoga teacher training course.
In the meantime, I studied and practised massage therapies, aromatherapy including pregnancy massage, reiki and continued to learn about flower essences, women’s health and flower essences.
In 2007 I commenced a 4-year full-time degree in Ayurveda (BSc, PGDip) at Middlesex University which included apprenticeships in Indian Ayurvedic hospitals.
It is the Ayurvedic principles that inspire and guides all my offerings.
As much as I love teaching classes and seeing clients face-to-face I feel this is something I want to share with as many as possible. And that’s why I created my online platform.
Here you can learn some of what I share with clients or students. More in-depth trainings. And resources you can go back to again and again.
I still see clients in person or via Skype as well as offering classes, workshops and retreats. To book and for full details visit here.

Consultations / Womb wellness
A session where you learn how to utilise the powers of the different seasons of your menstrual cycle. It can involve lifestyle changes, diet, daily self-care practices. If needed I prescribe herbs, yoga practices, breathing or meditative techniques.
The treatment plan can also include abdominal and sacral (lower back) aromatherapy massage to help digestion, circulation, personalised essential oil blends and pelvic steams.
The consultation is a gateway to honouring your cyclic nature and how to work with it rather than ignore or disconnect from it.
Aromatherapy Massage / Indian Head / Abdominal / Pregnancy
Massage is a wonderful way to relax, release any tension and stress. The sense of touch is grounding and reassuring yet you feel light and at ease after a treatment.
During our consultation we decide on the best essential oils for your specific needs to create a tailor-made intuitive massage experience.
I also offer pregnancy and postnatal massages.
Reiki
Reiki is a sometimes translated as universal energy. In a Reiki session, we facilitate space for this universal healing energy to come through. It is gentle and subtle yet can be profoundly relaxing and powerful.
You are fully clothed resting on the massage table relaxing. My hands will usually gently touch you and at times (or by request) it will be completely with my hands a little away from the body.
A treatment everyone can enjoy.
I love writing and have written yoga and ayurvedic inspired articles for various published and online magazines.
